I think he was wanting me to move on so he could continue raiding the bird feeder (the supposedly squirrel-proof bird feeder).
Its great to capture great moments such as this.
He had been quite shy, bounding off at my approach, but with cold temperatures and deepening snow he's become braver (hungrier), hanging around for close-ups.
