A Palette for the Wind

    Those yellow flowers look the same as those in your MAGNIFICENT Bumblebee photographs.

      Yes, a lot of wind here, especially in the winter (and during tropical storms and/or hurricanes).

      The yellow flowers are King Devil Hawkweed; Hieracium caespitosum.

      I enjoy the showy flowers, dancing with the wind, but there are all kinds of smaller species down in the grass, finding their little bit of light. They are a joy to discover as well.
